The 2011 Scottish County Finals will take place at Dumfries & County Golf Club this week from 16 - 18 September. The finals will be contested between Ayrshire, Dumfriesshire, Midlothian and Perth & Kinross Counties. Of the finalists, Midlothian have had the most recent success at the finals, last winning the title at Tullialan in 2007, however they will be looking to make it third time lucky as they have finished in the runners up spot in each of the last two years. Of the other competing Counties, none have been victorious in the last 40 years as Ayrshire last won in 1970, Perth & Kinross were last victorious in 1953 and Dumfriesshire have never won the title. Saturday 17 September Perth & Kinross v Midlothian Foursomes 9:30am, Singles 1:30pm Dumfriesshire v Ayrshire Foursomes 9:52am, Singles 2:15pm
