Congratulations to a trio of Scots:

To Catriona Matthew, our new Vice President, who was awarded an MBE in the New Year's Honours list for services to golf. It is a well deserved tribute to the 2009 Ricoh Women's British Open Champion, Scotland's first winner of a women's major title.
Catriona, who won three Scottish Amateur Championships and played in three Curtis Cups, can certainly claim to be Scotland's most successful woman golfer.

To Kylie Walker, the SLGA's 2008 Order of Merit winner and her fellow GB & Ireland cap, Carly Booth, on gaining their cards for the 2010 Ladies' European Tour.
Kylie finished 9th and Carly was 14th in the final qualifying school at La Manga in Spain. We wish them both well in their rookie seasons and hope they have long and successful careers as professionals.
