Girls Order of Merit 2012 Print E-mail

Jessica Meek (Carnoustie Ladies) has won the Girls Order of Merit title for the 2012 season. It has been a good season for Jessica who represented Scotland at he Girls' Home Internationals and the Girls' European Team Championships, as well as qualifying in 10th place for the Girls' British Match Play at Tenby Golf Club. Jessica was also a key part of the triumphant Angus County Ladies' Team who won the Scottish County Championships for the first time this year.

The winning margin was only 20 points however as Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) who has taken second place, pushed Jessica all the way. Connie also had a great season qualiying in second place in the Scottish Girls' Championship and reaching the quarter finals in the match play stages. Rachel Walker (Dumfries & County) took third place with good finishes in the Junior Open Stroke Play and Scottish Girls' Championship.
